• Works very well, love it.

This “WARNING: The site is in maintenance mode. DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING! Your changes may get overwritten!” is irritating and adds confusion.
Who is it warning and why? The only reason I’m logged in is to make changes! The only reason the website is in maintenance mode is because I’m logged in!
So anyone who is logged in doesn’t need this message right?

If the message worked only to tell someone that someone else is logged in too I would understand the need for this warning. Otherwise it is an annoyance.

    Hi Frank:

That message is off by default. You or another admin on your site turned it on. To turn it off, go to Settings | Login Security Solution page, scroll down to the “Misc” section, look at the “Maintenance Mode” option, click the “Off, let all users log in” radio button then click the “Save Changes” button.

Interesting, I never associated the warning with that setting. Thank you.
That said, I don’t understand that purpose for me as admin to see the message.

Sorry, I do understand now. I have comments disabled on most sites so it is mostly not relevant to me (block everyone, great!). Of course if a site is a blog you want to allow access to commenters etc. Thanks again. Great plugin.

    Hi Frank:

Glad you figured out what was going on. That message is intended for sites with multiple admin users. So when one person sets it so they can do some major site overhauls, the other admins will see the notice and be reminded that they shouldn’t touch anything until the overhaul is done.

With that in mind and your saying “Works very well, love it,” it would be nice if you can bump up your rating from a 3, please.

I’m having trouble figuring out how to bump the rating.
I would also appreciate it if the plugin settings for password length and complexity could be tweaked a little. I create really good passwords and they are still rejected.
