• I paid for both Yoast premium and Rank Math premium. I’ve been using Yoast for many years, mostly free. The download size of Yoast is not only larger than Rank Math, but it’s slowing down google PageSpeed.

Please, before you add more stuff, work on making this plugin more efficient. I reinstalled it for now but I still have a year on Rank Math subscription pending acknowledgement that you guys are NOT going to reply with “its your website”. My page speed is 100 on mobile and desktop! …it’s no thanks to Yoast is my point.

PLEASE acknowledge it’s heavy and begin to address your bloated code. Please.

    …. please

    Yoast free = 5MB!
    +
    Yoast Premium = 5.4MB!

By FAR the largest of my other 12 plugins.

Rank Math free = 2.6 MB
    +
Pank Math Pro = 2.1 MB

But curl testing my website from command line Rank Math is faster. But I’ve been using Yoast for almost a decade on my blog, I DON’T want to switch. Please fix weight and speed.

Look at the comment section, others just switch without posting this plea.

  • True. I have a website with several thousand subpages and editing something with a working Yoast plugin extremely slows down the whole backend. I have used this plugin for several years but maybe it’s time for change?

Also, I really hoping and expected a swift response like years gone past. 🙁

Look at the long list of 0-reply support threads. Things have changed here.

Some of these plugins, when they become popular, the vision gets lost. I have to replace WP-Rocket also, which is another case of that. Both Yoast and WP-Rocket were mind-blowing great lightweight plugins when they first launched.

It’s amazing how many people report that Yoast is very slow, and all Support has to say is “It’s other plugins’ fault, check the conflicts.” They probably don’t care.

Or they just don’t respond at all.
