Please consider changing the name of WordPress.ORG

    Yet another client who doesn’t want to hire me because he doesn’t know the difference between the place where you can make a fake website ‘WordPress.COM’ and the WordPress Platform software. He automatically assumes I am going to create a cookie cutter site like Wix. I spend a half hour explaining to him how the fake website builder .com and the Platform that makes real websites .ORG are completed different, but I said WordPress so his mind is made up.

    As soon as you say WordPress they stop listing. WordPress is right up there with other fake website builders like Blogger and Wix!!

    Can we PLEASE rename WordPress.ORG? I can’t be the only person who has this problem.

    That’s not what was written by me, that was not implied and you do not seem willing to accept a reply to your feedback.

    News flash: I’m not WordPress. I’m just a user such as yourself. I don’t seek agreement but yes, in the feedback forum other can reply. I did.

    This is the Feedback forum – I offered feedback in hopes that when others see this feedback they will post the issues they have had on this subject.

    If you seek unmitigated agreement then sorry, just like me you don’t get that. No one does and I hope in the future you take that into account before replying.

    I’m closing this topic now. Not because I disagree with you but because both of our replies are circling the drain not going anywhere. Accusations of being dismissive are getting old. That’s not what happened here and we’re not having a conversation.

    If you wanted to do that then you should have addressed the points made in reply. Instead you dismissed my feedback and are beginning to make accusations.
