• I opted to stay on the 6.4 version, however I’m getting a nag/notification to update to version 7 in my plugins list. Will this nag go away since I set my preference in the General settings to stay on 6.4 or will it always be present unless I upgrade to version 7?.. which is not what I’ll be doing.

Okay, one has to ask what’s the point of opting in for the 6.4 branch then? I read somewhere you said that staying on 6.4 would still allow for security updates and patches. Is that not the case now?

I’ve got your plugin running on about 30 sites and have always been pleased with this plugin and your abilities Jeff but now I’m forced to look for an alternative unless you can create a separate way to keep the classic version vs the new version separate. I’m a marketer and have to say this was not a wise move.

I agree with kaotik, what is the point of opting in for the 6.4 branch if you are pushing updates to 7.0. It obviously is having major issues based on this forum. I for one would have paid to keep using the current 6.4 version with all the features vs upgrading to 7.0 and buying all the individual extensions for it and then trying to get it to work correctly. Maybe you should consider simply charging for the current 6.4 version with all the features since that version was pretty much perfect.

I agree also with @kdsfx and @kaotic – there seems to be little point of issuing a notice if it can’t just be accepted, and then the plugin isolated so it no longer updates. Presently, I’m being offered an upgrade to 7.0 which I won’t be taking despite choosing to stay on the 6.4.x train.
