I have changed all default wordpress cookie names by define cookie name contestant in wp-config.php https://is.gd/fMjnNL only wordfence cookies name coded directly.
Hi @saadamin,
There are numerous other ways to find out a site was built with WordPress.
Besides, not knowing which CMS (or technology) was used to develop a website wouldn’t deter hackers from trying to hack it; they would simply try methods for various CMS/technology until they manage (or not) to find a vulnerability.
Therefore, we’d rather focus our efforts on efficiently protecting our users’ sites
rather than trying to conceal the fact that a given website is built with WordPress and protected by Wordfence.
However, you can still choose to disable Wordfence cookies:
- Go to the Wordfence Options page
- Scroll down the Other Options section
- Tick the Disable Wordfence Cookies checkbox
yes, I can disable wordfence cookies and thanks for that option . But if possible please add the change cookie name facility which will help user more comfort and flexibility.
Thanks for your awesome and best security plugin.
