can you please use a constant in cookie name in wordfenceClass.php line number 1089 https://is.gd/sLgiGh instead of ‘wordfence_verifiedHuman’ so we can change the name by declaring the cookie name in wp-config.php , this cookie shows attacker the site is developed by wordpress .

I have changed all default wordpress cookie names by define cookie name contestant in wp-config.php https://is.gd/fMjnNL only wordfence cookies name coded directly.

    Hi @saadamin,

There are numerous other ways to find out a site was built with WordPress.

Besides, not knowing which CMS (or technology) was used to develop a website wouldn’t deter hackers from trying to hack it; they would simply try methods for various CMS/technology until they manage (or not) to find a vulnerability.

Therefore, we’d rather focus our efforts on efficiently protecting our users’ sites
rather than trying to conceal the fact that a given website is built with WordPress and protected by Wordfence.

However, you can still choose to disable Wordfence cookies:

    • Go to the Wordfence Options page
    • Scroll down the Other Options section
    • Tick the Disable Wordfence Cookies checkbox
