please block anything with the domain name ending .xyz

    We’ve considered it, but don’t feel comfortable doing that yet. There are some legit xyz domains out there (the biggest being Google’s parent company at abc.xyz), so I think that might be overkill. We’ll certainly keep it in mind, though, and may change course in the future.

    Fyi the .xyz registry is really proactive about spam and malware and etc – if you are having problems w/ abusive .xyz domains, you can e-mail xyz_abuse@xyz.xyz. They’ve been really awesome about responding.
