Please assist. Color change and re-order of events on site.

The two links above are the site pages that I am working on. You’ll see in the first link (For-Dancers) that there is ‘Workshops’ and ‘Summer Training Programs’ with events listed. Second link takes you to Calendar part of the site, under upcoming events you’ll see the same events listed.

I’d like to be able to customize the order of the events and also change the link color to some of the events. We would like to create a ‘NEW’ category, and have newly posted events display in a different color other than the green you see.

For instance, on the calendar: the event ‘Summer Sunday One Day Intensives,’ it would be great if we could change that link to blue to show that it’s new.

I’d also like ‘RNDC Lunch Option | Highland Park, IL” under Levels 3-5, and “RNDC Lunch Option | Chicago, IL” below Levels 6-8 and Elite Choreographic Initiatives. I’ve attempted to re-order them in Events but it doesn’t seem to work.

I am still getting familiar with wordpress and php, so having some issues figuring out where to even start. Any help would be much appreciated!
