[Resolved] Please, Anybody – Custom menus not showing up in posts, only in categories??

  • Here’s the link: http://ericbrockmanwebsites.com/dev/

    Here’s my index file:

    } elseif ( in_category(array(14, 35)) ) {
        include (TEMPLATEPATH.'/single-docDrama.php');

    and here’s single-docDrama.php:

    [Code moderated as per the Forum Rules. The maximum number of lines of code that you can post in these forums is ten lines. Please use the pastebin]

    These menus show up in the category and sub category, but not when on the actual single post. Can’t figure out why.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

  • I don’t know what the rest of your code looks like, or your file structure

    But in general, a single post view would load single.php, not index.php, so your include would not get called

    Peep that to determine what is getting loaded, and when….. see if maybe you are bypassing yourself…

    Should I be embarrassed at how obvious that was and how many days I’ve been looking for the fix? lol. Transferred my index.php to my single.php and that fixed it.

    Thanks so much!

    No, you shouldn’t be embarassed!! We all gotta learn at some point eh? ANd sometimes it’s hard to know where to look for the answers.

    I’m glad it’s all sorted out for you now!

    Me too!
