Place as wp admin submenu ! Important stuff

    I love the plugin but I really dislike to see it polluting the wp admin menu.
    Can you register it as a sub menu under tools or general perhaps ?
    Please please that would be great as it is best practice and also again, what purpose does it serve to have it here and not under tools ?

    Hi Anthony,

    I can definitely see where you’re coming from here, but I also feel that some users might prefer the convenience of having Snippets as a separate menu, especially given the different subpages involved.

    I’ve been considering adding a setting to switch to a submenu, like you suggest, instead of the top-level snippets menu. You can actually test it out in the current version of the plugin by adding this as an activated snippet:

    add_filter( 'code_snippets_compact_menu', '__return_true' );
