I could add support for this down the road, but not in next few weeks as I am headed off on vacation. Are you just talking about visitor-facing instances of the word event, or also instances in back-end administration pages?

The backend can remain the same. I would understand that an ‘event’ would be whatever I set the variable too. For example, the event can be a ‘date’ and the calendar would show all the dates that visitors have scheduled but on the backend these would be events.

I have made modifications to Community Events to be able to change the label for events in the front-end. Sorry it took so long for this to happen.

Before I publish it officially, could you try out this modified version?

This replaces only the core plugin file, community-events.php. All other plugin files should remain in place.

Let me know if there are any issues with this update.

I will definitely test it out. I won’t have time until the weekend though. Thanks.

I seem to be able to select the event type now. This is helpful. Thanks.

How do I disable the link for tickets? I want to use community events as a stool for members on my social network to interact. They are not buying tickets to meet each other. Thank you.

Sorry for lack of reply. If I understand correctly, you want to enter data in the ticket field and see it displayed, but you don’t want that link to be clickable, correct? Or do you not want the ticket link to appear at all?

Do you still require this functionality?
