Player shows path

    @dietrichmdiprov

    Recently updated the plugin and now, when using the “Turn mp3 links into players” option, the player shows the following instead of the title”

    /wp-content/uploads/2013/04/filename.mp3

    I am using the following in the template options section:

    [mp3j track=”{URL}” caption=”{TEXT}” volsider=”y” style=”outline”]

    Previously, the code was set to be:

    [mp3j track=”{TEXT}@{URL}” caption=”{TEXT}” volsider=”y” style=”outline”

    but after the update, it just showed the title and the player would not play.

    Please advise.

    If you look at the site now, I have replaced {TEXT} with Click to Listen. This is not ideal, but a decent work around for now. I would still like a resolution, if possible, to the original problem.

    Thanks

    Hi, tbh I don’t understand the issue, the replace links feature was only just added and there has been no update.

    The default shortcode for the replace links feature is:

    [mp3j track="{TEXT}@{URL}" volslider="y" style="outline"]

    This will use the text that’s in the link for the track title. So if there’s no text, then the filename (and sometimes path) will be displayed instead.

    If I’ve misunderstood let me know and I’ll try help again.
