Thanks for providing example pages. I will examine your pages and hopefully we can see what’s wrong.

I looked at your page and you are using a theme that uses a javascript file called fitvids.js which wraps the embed code of the player in another <div> element with the class “fluid-width-video-wrapper”.

This is most likely why you are experiencing difficulties. Please have a look to see if you can disable this script (http://pcwar.com/wp-content/themes/supreme/js/jquery.fitvids.js?ver=1.0)

I contact to our theme developer regarding this issue and they said:

    Hi,

FitVids is used in our theme for responsive videos. It’s nice for them to blame that script, especially since you say you’ve encountered issues only after updating their plugin.

    I see 2 options:

    1) You can disable FitVids (I’ll guide you), but that means bye-bye responsive videos on mobile.

    2) You can revert back to the old version of the plugin, since I see you say it was working.

I’ll need to get back to you for the IE button – I’m writing this on a Mac where I have no Internet Explorer.

    Regards,

And now what we have to do? how we fix this issue? we need FitVids also.

Please note that it is not only an update to the plugin, but also an update of the JW Player. The new version 6 is a complete rewrite and the way it works differs from version 5. Fitvids adds HTML inside the HTML generated by the player and it breaks the way the player works.

Also note that I looked at the source code of fitVids.js and cannot see how this plugin will add responsiveness to all players on mobile. It works by looking for iframes for a set of video hosts (YouTube, Vimeo, etc) (which will work on mobile) and it works with object and embed tags which are used for Flash players and they do not work on the majority of mobile devices. As a result it will never add responsiveness for mobile to videos embedded with JW player or any other self hosted or third party player.

For now I suggest you revert back to JW Player 5 (you can do so within the plugin) until the JW player will be updated to version 6.4. JW player 6.4 will add its own responsiveness.

I did an downgrade but still same issue exist.

    what is other way?

It’s strange that you still have this issue when you downgrade to the player 5, because the plugin for the 5 player hasn’t changed on these key issues and works the same as it did before. You can download the last 5-only plugin and reinstall that manually

How about the old video? they will go?

    @longtail-video

They should not go, if you manually replace the jw-player-plugin-for-wordpress folder with the one unzipped from the previous version, you should be fine. But always backup before you do it, just to make sure!

I did manually replace the jw-player-plugin, but again same issue, I did an update to 2.0.4 after that and no result

    🙁

Than I’m sorry, but something else must have changed on your system since you last updated the JW Player plugin.
