The fault seems to be with the media.js player.

I switched to the HTML5 player and it works fine.

I switched back, and it is broken again.

Can you reply with a link to the page where it’s not working?

I have a similar issue since updating. The inline player (at the end of the post) only works with the HTML5 Audio Player. The MediaElement.js Media Player does not display anything. It does, however, work for downloads and new window.

If you do not let us know what sites URL your having trouble on we cannot help you. We have a full support forum at forum.blubrry.com..

FYI the Mediaelements.js player is the default player that comes with wordpress if you switch to the default theme. and do not have any issue, you more than likely have a theme conflict.

Again please post as much info as you can, because we have only had 3-4 folks report player issues.

Thanks. I did in fact include the URI of my site in the original post, although it was not hyperlinked. My apologies.

The pages I quickly looked at are using the HTML5 native player. e.g. http://www.eatthispodcast.com.

What I meant is to create a page that uses the MediaElement.js player so we can take a look.

If you can setup a page somewhere on your site that uses the MediaElement.js player using the [audio url=""] shortcode. For example:

    [audio url="http://media.blubrry.com/eatthispodcast/p/mange-tout.s3.amazonaws.com/uva-trail.mp3"]

Place that in a specific post/page, then reply with the URL to that page so we can take a look. This way you can keep the rest of your site using the native html5 player that’s stable.

blakejmatthews, I think geeknews reply was intended for you. Can you provide a URL to the page where it’s not working?

I should note that some folks are having MediaElement.js player issues regardless of PowerPress, so far the instances we’ve helped had to do with the theme not having WP 4.1 MediaElement.js CSS changes.
