Platinum vs All in One SEO

I had originally All in One SEO and was told Platinum was the better and more efficient one. However, on installing Platinum and deactivating All in One, many titles visible from the dashboard disappeared so I reactivated and am running both. What transpires is that even though I migrated the information from All in One to Platinum, All in One still overrides Platinum. Any insights please??
