 * hi. I have searched all over and can’t find a solution to the problem i’m having.
I have a client who very much wants to have a list of users and their passwords
at their disposal when the need it. The password hashing is what is causing me
problems…i know it is a security feature, but i’m hoping to find a way around
   this.
 * Can anyone think of a way to somehow get a list of user passwords, even if it’s
somehow stored in another database. I’ve messed around with the core and been
able to have usernames and passwords of new users added to a new database, but
that does not allow for updating the new database when information changes.
 * i’m able to output a hashed version of the password. Is there some way i could
have the clients use those to log in with?

 * for obvious reasons this isn’t possible – can you imagine the carnage?
