# Plain Text Mail

 * Is it possible to set the content for the plain text version of the html mail?
 * As I understand, some spam filters would increase the score for mails that do
   have only html content. So it would be nice to be able to define the plain text
   content too.

 * Hi Masterida,
 * Just to give you an update, we’ve looked into adding a plain text alternate version
   of emails, and added in the code necessary into the plugin. We’re waiting for
   a fix to the core wp_mail function ([https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/15448](https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/15448)),
   at which point we’ll unhide the editor and include a plain text email option.
