    Hi

Recently started having an issue whereby instead of line breaks in the emails as it looks in the email template, the emails arrive with line breaks replaced by <div></div> elements. We want to use plain/text email format. Not sure why these are showing up.

For us, the line breaks are <div></div>
For the customer, the line breaks are<div style=”height:10px;”></div>
    So slightly different.

But it must have something to do with the functions that format the text prior to sending email.

    Please help 🙂

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi

I have the same problem. I though it was the “Conditional Fields for Contact Form 7” module which is the source of the problem, but same problem when i desactivate it.

I’m going to try to install an older version of contact form 7 to see …

Do you have the same theme?
    Other plugins in common?
And lastly, PLEASE, if you find a solution, let us know 🙂

    My theme is NEVE.

    I have also like ernst1234 :
AKISMET 5.3, Flamingo 2.4, Send PDF for Contact Form 7 1.0.17, Wordfence Security 7.11.0, UpdraftPlus 1.23.13.

The Send PDF for Contact Form 7 1.0.17 plugin is the problem.

An update 1.0.18 (on Github) solve the problem of text in the email.

Try switching to the default theme, deactivating all plugins excluding Contact Form 7, Akismet Anti-spam, Flamingo, Site Kit by Google, Wordfence Security and Yoast SEO, and clearing all cache data.

Why you are advised to deactivate plugins and switch to the default theme.

You are correct. Upgrading “Send PDF for Contact Form 7” to version 1.0.18 solved the problem. I saw the offending code in the 1.0.17 version.

    Awesome, it’s solved.
