    I’ve never seen a plugin insert (INJECT) a promo on any page of any WordPress site.
    I’ll post this appalling action on every FB group I’m a member of.

    Sneaky, underhanded, and who knows what else this plugin is doing in the background.

    WPRocket here I come.

    The banner is shown only in free version.

    And the plugin is just optimizing site’s pages in the background. The according settings are here: https://www.s-sols.com/docs/wordpress/accelerator/settings-accel/settings-cache-accel#general.

    To clarify things here, the ad code is NOT in the version hosted on WordPress.org, however it IS in their self-hosted version.

    So when the developer said this:

    The banner is shown only in free version.

    What they MEANT was “The banner is only show in the free version downloaded from the plugin website, it’s NOT on the version hosted here.”

    In the future, a little clarity to the matter will help a long way.
