The Plugin has many options on where to place the subscription, however it lacks the possibility to place the field just BEFORE “order submit”. (People also have to tick-mark they agree with T&C just before “order submit”. Ideal the order would be: first ‘subscribe, than ‘agree with T&C, than “submit” button) Any chance to get this done?
    Best regards

    Hi Michel.

That does sound like a good option to have for those who only have a single list for customers to subscribe too but what about those who have many lists they would like customers to choose from? It would not look presentable.

Thats why the default options available are what they are.

There is a filter you can use to add this option yourself if you really want it. See line 157 on the GitHub repository of the plugin.

Once you have filtered in the option for before order submit, select it from the plugin settings on your site and the plugin will do the rest for you.

    Hope that helps.

    Txs for the prompt reply.
will see whether I get it to work, not being a programmer. Let you know.

MM, need one more hint I guess.

Added the option “review_order_before_submit” in the file you referred to, but this give me as result that I can no longer log in to wp-admin (give complete white screen)
So probably I also have to do something else? add the option in some other file?
If you could be so kind and give me one more hint 😉
    txs

    Hi Michel.

Sounds like you did not filter it correctly. I would refrain from modifying the plugin directly because if an update becomes available then you would loose those changes made.

Please try this code snippet. https://gist.github.com/seb86/70d8fede3e2d6b1c9fff5f2734a4424a

    Hi Sebastien,
    txs!
Working on it. Let you know
    regards

    Hi Sebastien,
Been trying to get it to work, but have to little knowledge. Simple question: where to place the code you provided?
    txs. and sorry.
    Michel

    Hi Sebastian,
    got it!
placed it in functions.php: I knew that would work and indeed it does but wanted to avoid to add code to functions.php…
    txs
