Hello, in my page footer I have a form that has a placeholder text, that, theorically, would disappear when the user starts typing in the field:

“Text that will appear in the form field itself. It will disappear as soon as the user starts typing in it.”
    – From: https://yikesplugins.com/support/knowledge-base/editing-forms/

But, as you can see, the text doesnt “disappear”, instead, the user has to delete the existing placeholder text.

Any way to fix this? Thanks!

By the way, amazing plugin. Way better UX than the official!

    Hello @bielweb

I took a look at your form and I don’t see any placeholder text. It sounds like text was entered into the “Default Value” field vs. the “Placeholder” field. Default Value will actually enter text into the field itself.

Please double check those values and report back. If that’s not it, then we’ll have to troubleshoot further.

    Thank you!

You are absolutely right. I chose the wrong field. I got confused because I’m spanish and the translations are kinda wierd.

    Thanks for the quick response!

    Have a great day, Tracy!
