Placeholder is not working

Hello,
All of a sudden the placeholder is not working in Formidable form. I tried everything mentioned in the below link: https://formidableforms.com/knowledgebase/using-dynamic-default-values-in-fields/

It used to work before. Maybe recent update broke it?
