Hi Bensh86,
Thank you for your message and the detailed description of the issue!
I’ve taken a closer look at this, and it seems very likely that the missing placeholder is related to one or more caching or minification plugins being used for performance optimization on your website.
These plugins can sometimes combine or reorder scripts, which in this case likely causes a required variable to become unavailable at the time it’s needed.
I recommend temporarily disabling these optimization plugins to test if the issue persists.
If this resolves the problem, it would strongly confirm our current analysis — and we’d really appreciate it if you could let us know the outcome!
I’ve also added this topic to our internal list, and we’ll keep it in mind for future updates to the plugin to improve compatibility with caching and optimization tools. However, I can’t promise a specific timeline for such an adjustment at this point.
If you’re looking for a more timely solution or further assistance, feel free to reach out to us directly via email at info@aweos.de — we’d be happy to take a closer look together and find a solution!
Best regards,
Matthias from the AWEOS Team
Hello Matthias,
thank you for your reply.
You were right in your assumption. It’s due to our caching plugin. As soon as I deactivate it, the placeholder will be displayed again on mobile devices. Can you tell me which script I need to add to the exceptions in the caching plugin?
Best regards,
Benny
