Placeholder image loads before video

    I’m using a YouTube video for my WordPress site front header using the Twenty Seventeen template. The video loads fine but before the video loads there is a flash of the placeholder image that is used on mobile instead of video.
    Is there a way to prevent the placeholder from loading on desktop viewing but load fine on mobile where video is not used?
