    Hi,

I saw in a 3 months old comment that placeholders were not supported. I just tried it myself with:

    placeholder “Name”

and indeed. Not working. Is there any heads up when this might be implemented? This will shave a lot of space of the length of a form and also looks nicer in my opinion.

    Other than that. Great plugin!

    Hi Martin

good question! At the moment a form builder is being built (a user interface, no more shortcodes) and placeholders will be added as part of the form builder. I think the first beta for the form builder will be ready at the end of the year.

But software development is hard to estimate.

    Kind regards
    David

    Hi David,

Would you happen to know a workaround for the time being?

A form builder is the easier solution (instead of shortcodes) and I understand that giving a timeframe is difficult. No worries :-D.

    Regards,

    Martin

If you know a bit of JavaScript, you could do it with a custom JS, Just populating the fields yourself.
