Support » Plugin: Custom Sidebars - Dynamic Widget Area Manager » Place some no-widget php in sidebars

  • Resolved ilmattiapascal

    hi there, i’m making a child of 20 12.

i just added a new aside class div on my sidebar.php with some social icons. it’s not a widget, but i’m looking for a plugin which can implement this php code wherever i want in the sidebar. In fact my problem is that the social icons display at the top of the sidebar, when i would like to have them where i want (just like a real widget).

is your plugin right for this? if not, do you have any idea of what plugin can help me doing this?

thanks and sorry if the question is not exactly about an issue of your plugin.

    Hi @ilmattiapascal

Could you perhaps use an already existing widget to do this? If so you could certainly do this anywhere. If not how about making a custom shortcode? You could then add the shortcode using a text widget.
