“Place order” button disappears for PayPal Express

Perhaps the reason I haven’t been selling kilts recently isn’t Covid after all?
The “Place order” button is there and works if a buyer selects “Direct bank transfer” but disappears (display = none) if they choose “PayPal Express”. This always used to work and I haven’t changed my PayPal password or anything. I haven’t been able to download and upgrade to the new version of WordPress though – could this be the problem?
Any idea what’s going wrong or how to fix it?

It sounds like you’re having trouble with the PayPal Express Checkout plugin. If that’s the case, can you please create a thread in the forum for that plugin?

When you make that post, it’ll be helpful to know more about your site. Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your message.
