Pitch theme problems – please help

Hi,

I’m a newbie to wordpress.org.
My question is very simple and I feel a bit silly asking it, but here goes!

I installed the Pitch theme to my account. Everything is working. The only problem is, when I go to my dashboard to preview the pitch theme, the slider and boxes etc are not showing up. All I have is a page with a few menu headings and a dummy page with text in it. The slider isn’t showing as per in the theme preview.

This is a problem for me as I wanted my website to adopt the exact homepage template. When I went to add a slide, the image and text didn’t show up I think due to this problem.

Can anyone help please? I can’t move forward with my site until this is resolved.
