# Pinterest URL invalid

 * I have this same error message come up when I try to Pin photos:
    Parameter ‘
   source_url’ (value [http://69.195.124.72/~alannaea/?gallery_page=lightbox&pp_gallery_id=1427993156](http://69.195.124.72/~alannaea/?gallery_page=lightbox&pp_gallery_id=1427993156))
   is not a valid URL format. My site has only just gone live and I wonder whether
   it has something to do with the links being in a ‘temporary format’ still. I 
   don’t know what that means but it is just something I have read in other posts.
   I don’t know why I have all these numbers before my website name either? Please
   help!

 * It sounds like your site is in some sort of temporary or “staging” state and/
   or you have some of your links or image sources still pointing to the temporary
   URL (the one with numbers).
 * You’ll definitely need to have everything on your site pointing to a public domain
   name before they can be pinned.
