• I am using Yoast SEO to generate Open Graph. When I try to make Rich Pins on Pinterest, my site name is removed from any titles of Pages or Products (they often include the site name). For example, if my site name was ‘Running Shoes’ and I had a product named ‘Red Running Shoes’, the Rich Pin title shows up only as ‘Red’.

Pinterest tells me the page is using 2 meta tags, one “item prop” and one “og”. Honestly I don’t know how that is happening or what “item prop” even means so I’m kind of lost at this point. Can this plugin help resolve the double tags being sent to Pinterest?

Give it a spin – it’s a free download, and yes, it should fix that for you – WPSSO includes specific support for Pinterest. 😉
