• I noticed a strange error, for example: navigation height 90px, pinned navigation height 60px, when scrolling is reduced and it’s ok, but when we turn on the search engine options in navigation, the pinned navigation does not decrease, except for the logo itself, the height is 90px, for me wrong.

An additional error that not always, but often happens, when scrolling down and zooming out of the pinned navigation and scrolling back to the top, it does not increase in size, sometimes it works, sometimes it does not work.

If I grab the browser sidebar and scroll, it works and returns to the main state, and when I scroll with the mouse, it does not return to the initial state, you can see it perfectly, e.g. by setting a different logo, that once it works, once it does not work properly pinned navigation.

The problem occurs only in the option: transition – missing.

    Hi there,

I’m not sure I fully understand what you mean.

Any chance you could provide any screen recording so we could have a better idea?

Also, can you link us to the page in question so we could check it? You can send the details on our contact page here: https://generatepress.com/contact/

    Thank you.

I don’t want to share private data with the public and it is not possible to upload files via the form.

Shows an example of a problem. Navigation 90px height, pinned 90px, but with a different logo, scrolls and changes the state of the navigation and the logo, until after some time, when it scrolls 3-4 times, it stops changing state and the logo does not change.

When I have a height of 90px, and the pinned one is 60px, the logo will change, but the height will not change, this problem is caused by the “search engine in navigation” option enabled. When disabled, the height will change to 60px.

There are several problems and examples where there is a problem with this pinned navigation, as I wrote the problem is created by options: search in navigation and no transition, the problem is noticeable many times with these options when scrolling down and to the very top.

An example in the video. There are more of these examples where there is a problem with pinned navigation and return to the initial state (logo, height).

Is that using the sticky navigation option from GP Premium?

If so we aren’t allowed to support premium options in the free forum here – it’s a WordPress rule.

Yes, so I will post a post there later if it doesn’t change, because the navigation problem is tiring.
