# Pinging

 * Hi there,
 * I have blogged and then pinged Technorati and PubSub, but it didn’t seem to work.
 * I have placed the ping addresses of technorati, and pubsub into the Options/Writing
   section of the dashboard, and also ticked allow ping for each post.
 * I then published a post that I was editing and saving before, and I didn’t alter
   the time stamp at all.
 * My CHMODD settings are 644.
 * Is there anything I’m missing here, or doing wrong?
 * Any help appreciated.
