# Pingbacks not working

 * Hi, I my friend linked to my site twice and I am unable to see the ping backs
   in the comment sections of the dashboard. I allowed ping backs on the posts but
   am yet to see them. My friend linked it using the http format as well, can anyone
   help?
 * I’m using the Canard theme, the site is [http://www.gonzostu.com](http://www.gonzostu.com)
   if that helps.

 * Some theme don’t show ping back in front end. You can post your probelm here:
   [https://wordpress.org/support/theme/canard](https://wordpress.org/support/theme/canard)
   so that theme author can solve it.

 * No solution found with theme people, any other ideas, I can’t even see self pings.
   I have all my settings right to receive them as well.
