 * Hi, i have a blog where i use wordpress. I’m trying ot figure out how to do pingbacks(
   at least I think that’s what they are or is it trackback?)… when I want to post
   about something but it is in reference to someone’s else’s blogpost… i want to
   post on my blog but notify them/or credit them whatever.
 * i can’t figure out in my dashboard how this is done….
    (must be basic, but…)

 * What version of WP? For recent versions, pingbacks seem to happen automatically(
   for me at least). Trackbacks, on the other hand, seem to work when they feel 
   like it. 😉
