# Pinboard Theme Hacked How To Replace function.php file

 * Hi!
 * My website use the Pinboard theme and hacked! I found the infected files and 
   I delete them BUT one of them is in the function.php section and I don’t know
   how to replace this section (function.php) with a fresh one so that to restore
   the infection.
 * Can anyone help me with that? I am an amateur on WordPress!

 * You can download the theme from here:
    [https://wordpress.org/themes/pinboard](https://wordpress.org/themes/pinboard)
 * Once download it, extract the files and look for the functions.php file. If you
   have FTP access, upload it and overwrite it that way.
 * Otherwise, if you have access to your wordpress dashboard you can go to Appearance
   >> editor and look on the right for functions.php.
 * Open the new functions.php file with notepad or similar, copy everything and 
   paste it in place of the old file and press save.
 * FTP is the quickest and easiest way if you have it set up, would take about 30
   seconds to do

 * If your site was hacked, you need to make sure you’ve completely cleaned it up
   and secured the site or it will likely happen again.
