I’m using Pinboard along with a child theme.
WP or the Pinboard theme is no longer respecting the featured image aspect ratio and/or custom crop that I select using the custom crop settings. (All posts are set using “Standard” format.)
When I set my featured image by either simply choosing the desired image or custom cropping the image in the featured image section, it appears in the dashboard under the featured image CORRECTLY but NOW when I view the site it is cropped to a default cropped size.
This WORKED FINE until ?…, not sure what changed, but I noticed it after the update to wp 3.5.1 and I created a new post, as I’ve been slowly working on the site developing it.
The cropping feature still WORKS FINE on another test site/wp install with the same theme/child theme and has also been updated to wp 3.5.1. So not sure where the issue lies.
Previously, I was able to override the default by using the custom crop.
I’ve spent hours & hours trying to figure this out and so far have done the following but still have the problem:
I have deactivated all plugins — no issues
I have re installed wp
I have re installed pinboard theme
Any help or suggestions would be SO appreciated!!!!!
Thanks in advance !!
