jQuery Pin It Button For Images
[resolved] Pin buttons still appear after disabling and deleting this plugin (6 posts)

I installed this plugin to try it out but found it didn't serve my needs and didn't work (pin buttons didn't follow the setting to pin using the page title but rather used the image descriptions).

I disabled and deleted this plugin using the plugin page on my WordPress site, but I still get pin buttons on my images. I'm getting them all across my site. I had set the plugin to only show them on single posts but I get them all over. I've tried deleting caches, trying different cache plugins, re-installing and re-uninstalling the plugin. All failed. I still get pinterest buttons all over my site.

Can you give us your website address?

On my computer, I don't see the pin button on pictures, only at the bottom of the article… I think it's already uninstalled… You can maybe try to have a look on your website on another computer?

I've checked your website and the button doesn't show up. Chances are your browser cached it all.

Disregard this issue. Turns out a Pinterest extension was installed on my Chrome browser and it apparently inserts Pin It buttons over images in a webpage unless you turn off that function. My bad.
