Support » Fixing WordPress » Pictures showing on frontend but not in editor

  • Hi, I hope someone can help me.

My images are not showing in the editor even though they are showing on the website. I thought they were gone so added them again but then they showed up twice. The page given here is just one of the pages where this is happening. I thought it was one of the plugins I installed yesterday to speed to site. So I deactivated them and deleted them. That didn’t help. The other thing that I’ve done is activate the Gutenberg Editor to test it and then I went back to the Classic Editor.

Any ideas what is creating this issue and how I can fix it without having to redo all the pages that have images, which is pretty much all of them.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey @gdsilva,

It sounds like it may have been an issue with converting from Gutenberg back to the classic editor. Could you try going through your post revisions and restoring a prior version and seeing what happens?

Hi @simplisticsca, thanks for your response. I’ve tried going back to a revision on one of the pages that I had done prior to testing Gutenberg. The images are still not visible. So that might not be the issue.

@gdsilva are you able to click on “text” mode in the editor and copy and paste the output into a reply? It would help to see if the text mode shows the images or not. Have you also saved the post since disabling Gutenberg?
