Pictures in posts

i have a post that i am trying to put pictures in. The pictures are side by side and then i want text to be below it. i have one picture justified left and the other right both with hyperlinks in them and then in the edit post i go below these pictures and start typing. but here is my problem.. the post comes up perfectly fine when i go to the website but when i go back to edit post the pictures are spread far apart and the text is in between. i want the edit post to look exactly how it would show up on the website but i cant seem to get that work.
