Pictures in excerpt

    Hello Robin,

    I have a little problem, when a blog post with little text and a lot of pictures is sent via rss. The text is grabbed correctly, but instead of picture, there is only blank space – screen of one of my mails.
    Excerpt length is set to 50 words.
    Is there any way to avoid this behavior? The best solution would be to not display the blank space.

    In that particular post, there is a forced blank line in between each image:

    <p>&nbsp;</p>

    Those are technically part of your post content and have been counted as part of the 50 words, since the text above is less than that.

    You can resolve this in this particular post by putting the text into the manual excerpt, or by removing the forced blank lines (you may want to add some CSS to space the images out more to give the same visual effect). I believe the manual excerpt would be the easiest option for this particular post. Hope that helps–
