Hey Torsten, what version of WP are you using?
If you are using something before 1.2, then you need to go to options>file uploads.
Once you have set uploads to true, go back to your post/edit screen and select advanced editing. Now you will see on the advanced editing screen a new option: upload a file/image.
If you are running 1.2 then follow these directions:
Click on Options>Miscellaneous (in the grey bar). On the Miscellaneous page you will see the first option is to enable uploads. Once you have enabled uploads, and saved your changes you will see a new selection in the top area, in between Template and Profile. Click on Uploads and the rest should be pretty straight forward.

well, i enabled that upload-option, but there is no upload-option…where should it be placed? i am a bit confused…
i am using wp 1.0.2…
it’s a bug… knobody knows why (or some does but I haven’t seen why)
just go to http://www.yourdomain.com/wp_folder/wp-admin/upload.php
