# Picture Upload issue

 * When I attempt to upload a image, and click on “insert into post” the screen 
   goes blank, the bottom left says “done” and the redirect is as follows –
 * [http://www.momsownwords.com/wp-admin/media-upload.php?type=image&tab=type&post_id=3722](http://www.momsownwords.com/wp-admin/media-upload.php?type=image&tab=type&post_id=3722).
 * I did change my permalink settings recently from the default to
    /%category%/%
   postname%/. But didn’t change anything else.
 * Any idea how I can get my picture upload working properly again?
 * I am very new at all of this….

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or PhpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.
 * – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a **fresh** download
   of WordPress?
 * – increasing the memory available to PHP?
