Let me reply to your queries one by one.
1. The image wasn’t displaying with {the custom field name} setting which was fixed in the latest release.
How are you managing the custom image field with custom coding or with ACF(Advanced Custom Fields)?
Here is what you need to do, The meta value of the image field you have created will go inside the Related Posts Thumbnails settings field. ( It can be the ACF field of image, a custom field of the image with coding )
2. The “Thumbnails Size” is 150×150. Currently, you have set it to 130×80.

Allow me to explain the sizes of thumbnails in WordPress.
The Thumbnail size, is 150×150
The Medium Size, is 300×300
As you can see in this screencast the Thumbnail brings the thumbnail size to 150×150.

You are advised to make a new ticket stating your concern so I can forward it to the team to guide you on this.
Having the same issues when I upgraded from 2.0.0 to 2.0.2. Custom fields stopped working and all the related posts images reverted back to the default setting image.
Had to rollback to 2.0.0 to get them to work again. Something is wrong with 2.0.2 and custom fields working correctly.
