# Pic Upload Problem

 * Thanks so much for reading this, ppl.
 * I have had no problems uploading pics to my blog, but suddenly, a couple of days
   ago, I got this message:
 * Unable to create directory /home/starry/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2006/10.
   Is its parent directory writable by the server?
 * Being new to blogging on wordpress dot org, I have no idea what it means or what
   to do so that I can add photos to my blog!!
 * Please help!!!!!

 * It means you have to CHMOD 777 your /wp-content folder.
    You should only have
   to do this once -upload – then CHMOD back to 755.
