Support » Fixing WordPress » Physical Memory Usage 5.23 GB / 6 GB ( 87% )

  • Hello,

For an unknown reason, the website started to consume a ridiculously huge amount of physical memory. The average consumption was about 100-120 Mb (with 50 plugins, I know it is a lot, but most of them are small add-ons to Ultimate Member plugin).
One day, when I was not changing anything much, the consumption increased.
The weird thing is that I backed up to a version when everything was fine, but the memory consumption appeared to be the same: about 5-6 GB!! The admin area and front end gives an error, so I can fix it via phpMyAdmin or FTP only.

Please, advise how can I fix the issue?

    The error is
“Service Unavailable. The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.
Additionally, a 503 Service Unavailable error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”

Thank you for the hint. I will do as described.

The 503 service unavailable error occurs when your web server is unable to get a proper response from a PHP script. This PHP script could be a WordPress plugin, a theme, or a misbehaving custom code snippet.

Simply You can Find error log to Know whats The problem

If it by some plugin rename plugin folder name

capacity problem Means Your server needs More resource Means add cpu and ram i will say stop using 50 plugin try to
