PHP/WordPress forgets about MySQL (3 posts)

Hi there - this is driving me mad.

I've installed PHP, MySQL and WordPress onto my Windows 2003 server and have got it running under IIS fine.

After a couple of days of running, however, WordPress stops working and just comes up with the error message:

"Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL which is required for WordPress."

The only way to clear it appears to be to restart the server.

    Any ideas?

Thanks for those links - certainly make interesting reading. What it seems to be is that PHP 'forgets' about MySQL and unloads the dll? could that be possible?

I've updated the server to the latest version of PHP to see if it solves the issue..
