 * Hi there,
 * Very new to WordPress. Not sure why phpMyAdmin appears on my site whenever I
   try to edit a page. I understand it’s importance in creating a database, but
   I am unsure if it is necessary for me to continue using wordpress?
 * I intend to do my editing via the wordpress interface. If I update my site tabs,
   I can’t seem to view what I have edited as I am greeted by the phpMyAdmin link.
   This can be seen on the [http://www.galleryxlondon.com](http://www.galleryxlondon.com)
   url
 * Is there a way I can deactivate or move the program to another location?
 * GXL

 * Assuming that you don’t have a phpMyAdmin plugin for WordPress installed and
   it’s the standalone version of phpMyAdmin that keeps interfering with your WordPress
   installation, you should check your rewrite rules.
 * I’d recommend that you move phpMyAdmin to an URI like /phpmyadmin and change
   the rewrite rules accordingly.

 * Hi CoderJosh,
 * Thanks for your reply. I’ve had a look and I see whenever I try to edit something
   the phpMyAdmin links to my wordpress directory.
 * How can I check the rewrite rules? I had a second directory for the program but
   any links point to the wordpress default directory.
 * Would the files for phpmyAdmin by listed in one folder, i’m unsure which ones
   to relocate?
