 * do you have to have phpMyAdmin upgraded to 4.1 in order to do the 2.0.3 update?
   i am still running 2.5.2

 * Hi,
 * phpMyAdmin and WordPress are completely independent of each other. You don’t 
   need to upgrade one of them for the other one.
 * The latest phpMyAdmin version is 2.8.1, so you probably mean MySQL, which is 
   available as 4.1. If it worked with an earlier WordPress version (1.5 or 2.0)
   you don’t need to upgrade anything.
