 * Does anyone know where I can find the php.ini file on my server. We have the
   white screen of death and we need to increase memory limit with php.ini file.
 * Thanks.

 * If it’s a *nix based server, have a look in `/etc/php`

 * I found it and increased the memory from 128 to 256 but now I can’t copy it back
   to the server. I’m getting a permission error.

 * It’ll be read only by your user. Is this actually on a server you own?
