# PHP5 to PHP4?

 * I know, sounds crazy, but my host provider has a high CPU server that I desparately
   need due to CPU thresholds being reached.
 * The problem is that my current installation is on PHP5 and the high CPU server(
   they have increased horsepower, memory and reduced number of accounts on that
   box) is PHP4.
 * I am currently using WP2.0.4 – do I have any issues to be concerned with to migrate
   back to PHP4?

 * I understand the requirements are 4.2 or higher .. I just wanted to make sure
   going from 5.x to 4.2 wasn’t going to cause any problems. Would that be your 
   understanding?

 * The only point of conflict would be if you’ve made any customizations to WordPress
   or run any plugins which require a PHP5 feature. Otherwise you should see no 
   problems.

 * I use the same plugins that I setup in PHP4.x, so I think it should be OK.
