This error is filling up my php error_log:

[10-Sep-2019 02:21:00 UTC] PHP Warning: mkdir(): No such file or directory in /home/redacted/public_html/wp-content/plugins/photo-gallery/framework/BWGOptions.php on line 355

I’ve completely deleted /wp-content/plugins/photo-gallery/ then installed the latest version. It did not help.

    Any other ideas?

    Hi,

Please check the permissions of wp-content/uploads folder whether they are open or closed.

    Thank you in advance!

    Have a nice day!

All the folders in /wp-content, including uploads, are properly set to 755:

    -rw-r--r-- 1 redacted redacted 28 Oct 14 2015 index.php
    drwxr-xr-x 2 redacted redacted 4096 Oct 14 2015 languages
    drwxr-xr-x 9 redacted redacted 4096 Sep 9 21:20 plugins
    drwxr-xr-x 4 redacted redacted 4096 Sep 9 21:14 themes
    drwxr-xr-x 2 redacted redacted 4096 Sep 9 21:20 upgrade
    drwxr-xr-x 7 redacted redacted 4096 Sep 9 21:20 uploads

    Same for inside /wp-content/uploads:

    drwxr-xr-x 8 redacted redacted 4096 Oct 14 2015 2014
    drwxr-xr-x 11 redacted redacted 4096 Oct 14 2015 2015
    drwxr-xr-x 2 redacted redacted 4096 Oct 14 2015 et_temp
    drwxr-xr-x 4 redacted redacted 4096 Oct 14 2015 photo-gallery
    drwxr-xr-x 2 redacted redacted 4096 Oct 14 2015 wp-google-maps

Everything inside /wp-content/uploads/photo-gallery/ looks fine… all the images are 644 and the .original and the thumb directories are 755. Every file and folder is properly owned by the user (redacted.redacted)

    Hi,

Please write above the problem, where you see it, the following:

    var_dump($this->upload_dir);

As it is shown in the following screenshot
And when you access your admin Dashboard, you will see Upload directory. You can compare if it is a correct directory or not.

    Thank you!

    Have a nice day!

This was very helpful. The dump showed a very strange path (/home/baduser/public_html/subdir/wp-content…) where the path is actually /home/gooduser/public_html/wp-content…)

Do I need to try to find this path in the database? Where is it pulling this weird/bad path from?

    Dear @sneader,

    Please replace the following line
    https://gyazo.com/6acbee2eb1a6f5fc717770bf2e194d49

    with this one
    https://gyazo.com/cad91410ad336fd9f5922b27ca1832a0

It is the same file, line 338.

Let us know how it worked.

    Sincerely,

The problem continues, but now the printed error on the page says:

    string(63) "/home/baduser/public_html/subdir/wp-content/uploads/photo-gallery"

The directory should be /home/gooduser/public_html/wp-content/uploads/photo-gallery. We need to correct the username and also there is no subdir. How can I do this? Where is this bad username and upload path coming from? Where is it stored?

@asyag I did a search in the WordPress database for the bad path, found it, and fixed it to be the correct path, so I no longer need support.
